The International Film Festival Cologne will take place on the 18th of April 2020.

The main goal is to bring films from all over the world together in Cologne.

Although Cologne is one of the major film-cities in Germany, the IFFC will be the first festival to provide categories both for international feature- and short films as well as focussing on more alternative niches by providing awards for "Best Music Video","Best Mini Web Series" and "Best Experimental Film".

 

By doing so we hope to meet an international audience, to create an inspiring event, to network world wide and to celebrate filmmaking itself.

Note about "Best Acting":

We decided that at the IFFC there will be only one award for best acting.

We asked ourselves the question"why should there be two awards for the same form of art just based on different gender?".

So all genders will compete in the same category for acting, just as they do in directing, cinematography and so on.
